Job Description

Job Title: Financial Planning Business Development ManagerSalary: £55,000 - £75,000 + BonusLocation: Home based Covering Bristol & LondonThis position is with an expanding, national financial planning practice that have several offices across the UK and are continuing to grow, despite the challenges of Covid.They place an emphasis on client care and providing a tailored solution. They have a broad offering for clients, providing advice across a range of cases including Pensions, Investments, Protection, IHT, Tax & employee benefits along with some corporatefinancial planning. They have long standing relationships with a great deal of their clients and have an excellent client-retention rate to go with this.They have multiple offices across the UK and are a growing presence nationally. Being a bigger firm that works within the employee benefits market, there is a strong benefits package on offer which includes flexible working options.The business is built around having a friendly culture based around working together to achieve the best results. Along with promoting talent internally and offering their employees the best chance of building a career with them.The Role:This position is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced business development professional with strong interpersonal and sales skills who is looking to make an impact within a growing financial planning business.The main aim of this role to bolster existing relationships and introducers to maintain a high level of revenue streams into the business for the finanical planners. There will be more attention on the corporate development side of things and someone whois experienced in leveraging professional relationships or with existing connections would be highly desirable.You will have autonomy within this position and a good brand behind you, but you will need to be motivated to drive your own sales, and to project manage different business development campaigns alogn with identifying new business opportunities.Experience within a financial planning or wealth management firm would be desirable and in return, you will have a good basic salary and benefits package, including a collaborative team around you.The Required Skills:

  • Level 4 Diploma Qualified or equivalent would be desirable.
  • Strong sales background and demonstrable success in previous business development positions.
  • Ability to identify new business opportunities, convert leads and generating lasting relationships with both introducers and clientele.
  • Experience within a financial services firm previously is desirable
  • Excellent commercial awareness and someone who is self-motivated.
