Job Description

A Group Financial Accountant to join an award winning, leading and fast growing business, on a permanent basis, based in Bristol with hybrid working available (2 days required in the office per week). This is an opportunity to work in the global headquarters,of an extremely successful and internationally renowned brand that has delivered growth year on year.The successful candidate will report to the Head of Finance and will work across both the regional and group finance functions.The Group Financial Accountant duties will include:

  • Responsible for the monthly group close process
  • Manage the monthly and end-of-year intercompany reconciliation process
  • Responsible for the Annual Group audit, preparation and execution
  • Preparation of Group statutory accounts and compliance fillings
  • Oversight of key subsidiary reconciliations
  • Preparation of various key reports
  • Controlling data in the Group consolidation system
  • Setting and distributing the Group monthly and year end timetable.
  • Setting objective monthly and year end foreign exchange rates, for distribution to subsidiary entities in line with the Group timetable.
  • Implementation and data migration of subsidiary entities into the group consolidation system
  • Responsible for delivery of various finance project
  • Partnering with other divisions of finance to assist with insightful monthly management reporting and manage the Group cash flows
Skill set requiredThe successful candidate will be an ACA/CA from a Big 4 or Top 10 background, with 0-3 years post-qualified experience.
