Job Description

We are currently assisting one of our esteemed global FTSE 250 clients in their search for a Finance Manager Contract Reporting. This pivotal role will directly support the Finance Director in delivering accurate and timely financial data crucial for strategicdecision-making.Salary: Up to £65,000 per annum + Hybrid Working (1-2 days in the office) + Career Progression OpportunitiesKey Responsibilities:

  • Compile crucial financial analyses as requested by the Finance Director and Business Unit.
  • Assist in implementing business change initiatives across the Business Unit.
  • Generate precise and timely contract accounts, collaborating with finance stakeholders.
  • Prepare contract management accounts with accompanying analysis.
  • Consolidate quarterly contract review presentations.
  • Oversee the review and approval of Contract overheads monthly accounts with Heads of Departments.
  • Manage Contract month-end processes, budgets, forecasts, and strategic plan submissions to the central FP&A team.
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of central revenue journals.
  • Monitor Contracts working capital and ensure compliance with internal timetables.
  • Develop accurate contract-based budget, forecast, and strategic plan reports and presentations for the Business Facing Finance Director, coordinating with Business Unit finance stakeholders.
  • Construct trading contract balance sheet models and order book reports to support submissions.
  • Review central revenue journals and reconcile billed and unbilled revenue.
  • Provide necessary input and support for internal and external audit requirements.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with relevant experience.
  • Proficient in understanding and manipulating data to present clear and concise financial messages for review.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed deadlines and targets consistently.
  • Strong knowledge of industry and regulatory standards concerning Financial Reporting.
