Job Description

Currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to oversee all aspects of this SME Finance team (subsidiary of a larger organisation with access to an experienced FD for guidance and support).You will be ambitious with high levels of energy and seeking to add value beyond the day to day operations.If you love broad roles, energising challenges in a startup-like environment and the opportunity to have a true impact, this position is for you. You will have a chance to implement new systems, define processes and influence senior stakeholders.You you will play a crucial role in maximising profitability and steering and measuring company financial performance. You will be a critical member of the leadership team and a key contributor to reaching ambitious bottom-line results.Responsibilities will include;

  • Accounting: you are responsible for all aspects and activities in the field of accounting, including payroll, treasury, cash flows and taxes.
  • Strategic controlling: you will constantly monitor financials and provide budgets and forecasts.
  • Reporting: you will prepare consolidated monthly, quarterly and annual reports and other ad-hoc reports as
  • Project management: You will setup and manage projects to drive improvements.
    • Experience/Qualification
  • You wull be a Qualified Accountant (ACA,ACCA, CIMA) with either some years post qualified in industry or potentially looking to move out of practice.
  • You will have an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to create an atmosphere of trust & respect where your team feels empowered to deliver high performance.

  • Experience leading a small team in a startup environment is desirable
  • Analytical skills: based on financial modelling and strong analytical skills, you are able to draw conclusions and discuss them with in the management team.
