Job Description

Finance Business Partner Bristol, hybrid role (2-3 days a week in Bristol)£55,000 - 65,000The CompanyA Finance Business Partner is sought by this award-winning international professional services group. Due to continued growth and success, this market-leading organisationhas created a brand new role for a Finance Business Partner to support the various businessservice functions to truly understand their financials and ensure each function can support the growing profitability of the business. Known for being international experts in sectors such as digital business, energy, financial services, life sciences, realestate, retail and more, they have represent many household names as well as offering a vibrant, diverse and friendly work environment.Key Responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner

  • Develop and continually improve a budget and forecasting model to support the Business Function Directors for all elements of spend
  • Work with the Directors and Heads of function to fully review all expenditure, including maintenance contracts renewals and the impact internationally, before presenting options on cost allocation models for the international offices recharge with recommendationsfor consideration
  • Assist in the annual budget setting process and be the main link between Finance and multiple cost function Heads, including reviews and reporting for the budget pack
  • Maintain the agreed international recharging process and reconciliation, including regular reviews and monitoring of potential true-up position
  • Automate and simplify current IT project modelling, including reviews of actuals against budget
  • Work closely with Change on Investment plan monitoring and recharging
  • Work closely with Solutions on developing recharging mechanisms and ROI models
  • Partner with IT, Change and Solutions to provide cross-function operational support
  • Build partnerships and maintain strong relationships with senior managers and their teams
  • Provide ad hoc support internationally, including modelling IT costs for new office openings
Skills & Attributes of the Finance Business Partner
  • Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
  • An ability to develop relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Previous experience working as a Finance Business Partner, commercial finance or FP&A
  • Demonstrable experience or partnering with non-finance stakeholders would be a distinct advantage
  • Strong analytical and data manipulation skills
  • Experience in cost allocation
  • Comfortable proposing, justifying, initiating and implementing change
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to challenge and question in a collaborative manner to achieve results
  • An ability to understand your audience, to analyse data and to deliver information in a clear and user-friendly manner
