Job Description

Ships are back sailing and due to an internal promotion, we are looking to recruit a Finance Analyst for Inventory. Managing a small team, the role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and enforcement of appropriate controls of consignment and high value inventory. We stay at the cutting edge of retailing;consistently providing outstanding customer service and winning global retail awards.About the role:Create and maintain perpetual count files, managing the counting process for consignment and high value inventory, including scheduling counts, investigating differences, posting entries, and maintaining trackers. You will perform necessarystock adjustments, raise consignment order/returns etc to ensure accuracy of consignment stock holding. The role will work closely and build strong stakeholderrelationships with internal and external terms, including third party vendors, shipboard staff, Profit Protection, Logistics, and IT.You will partner with vendors to perform consignment stock reconciliations and agree statement and stock balances between both parties, raising consignment purchase orders/returns if identified. You will prepare consignment stock related balance sheet reconciliations and supporting commentary, periodicallyreviewing open purchase orders for accuracy.The role requires someone who is forward thinking and consistently reviewing own areas to identify process improvement opportunities and work with the financial controller to streamline processes.About you:
