Job Description

Job Title: Field Service TechnicianLocation: BristolPay Range/details: £40,000 to £45,000Contract Type: PermanentOur client are looking for an experienced Field Service Technician who will be responsible forinstalling new food and packaging machinery equipment to their clients. Additional tasks will include on-site equipment repair and carrying out preventative maintenanceactivities.Key Responsibilities –Field Service Technician

  • Carry out equipment maintenance-routine maintenance on equipment and necessary training
  • Engage with customer on site, analyse equipment performance, troubleshoot to isolate problem, and determine actions needed to restore system to performance specifications
  • Troubleshooting - Identifies, analyses failures, determine causes of operating errors and taking action to resolve issues
  • Flexible approach to changing requirements
  • Inform customers of routine preventive maintenance techniques.
  • Servicing, troubleshooting and repair of electro-mechanical machinery
Qualifications & Requirements – Field Service Technician
  • Good understanding ofelectrical, pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams
  • Electro-mechanical qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years experience within a previous role
  • Full valid driving licence
  • PLC knowledge is desirable but not essential
