Job Description

The ideal candidate will assist the Regional Property Manager in the upkeep of all HMO &/or PBSA Properties within their portfolio. They will look after both Bristol and Exeter properties, and will manage student welfare and on site activities promotingthe social aspects of Student Living within the properties. It will be the successful candidates responsibility to manage and ensure compliance with all building health, safety and life systems. They will provide great customer service to guests whilst keepingcosts to a reasonable and budgeted level. This role will develop the Student Community within their Property/s and ensure safe and enjoyable standards at all times. This is a six month fixed term contract with the capacity to become permanent for the rightcandidate.Responsibilities

  • Property Upkeep -Diagnose and resolve problems within property portfolio quickly and efficiently
  • Find and maintain good relationships with local contractors
  • Manage and be responsible for all maintenance costs
  • Maintain a good and sincere working relationship with Guests
  • Find and maintain good relationships with local partners, enabling our guests to receive exclusive offers and discounts
  • Reporting and logging all maintenance issues
  • Authorisation of maintenance services and invoicing working through Finance Team.
  • Daily/ PBSA and weekly HMO on site review of property conditions and student welfare
  • Inspections (yearly)
  • Managing change of tenancies and summer works (Yearly)
  • Organising and delivering localised events with support from the Student Ambassadors
  • Management of Student Ambassadors
  • To recruit from within intake of student a small team of responsible Students who can deputise for all social and security matters as well as being a conduit between the Property Manager and The Students.
  • Developing cost effective ideas to improve the guests experience, through social community, facilities management and on site engagement.
Ideal Requirements
  • Be locally based in order to easily access location and manage issues.
  • Strong Administration skills
  • Sales skills working with Local Education Community and Students
  • Detail-oriented and strong communication skills
