About the RoleApprenticeships form an integral role within our Facilities team, and we have an exciting opportunity for someone looking to continue their education whilst earning a competitive salary. Working in our Facilities team you will gain professional skills with regard to Facilities/Reception within an office environment. You will provide a professional reception/front-of-house/facilities support service and work in conjunction with the Bristol WorkplaceManager to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the CMS Bristol office.To support your ongoing learning and development, you will undertake the Facilities Services Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship which is supported by our external training provider. We have created this opportunity for any individual who doesnt have prior qualificationsrelating to facilities operation, and welcome applications from career changers and those who would like to leave College earlier than planned to start their career yet must remain in education to undertake a qualification. Our newly created Receptionist/Facilities Assistant Apprenticeship Contract will give you the opportunity of gaining valuable on-the-job learning along with structured learning with a competitive salary. It is for a fixed period of 18 months. As an equal opportunitiesemployer following that period you may be eligible to apply for other roles advertised in the business.During your apprenticeship you will become fully conversant in a variety of tasks which the wider team undertake. These tasks include but are not limited to: * Front-of-house duties including, receiving and signing in visitors, issuing passes, allocating on-site parking spaces and entering meeting room bookings on the Manhattan room booking system * Setting up meeting rooms when necessary to include, refreshments, room lay-out for seminars and provision of AV assistance for meetings/presentations when necessary* Co-ordinate general maintenance of the office by liaising with the relevant contacts who deal with issues regarding security, fire, electrical and air conditioning systems as well as general maintenance/facilities * Ad-hoc duties such as booking taxis, arranging flower deliveries* Carrying out support tasks such as, monitoring stock of kitchen supplies and replenish when necessary, and distribution of staff refreshments in main kitchen About You * Basic knowledge of PC systems to include Outlook, Excel, Word* Basic communication, writing and numeracy skills* Willingness to learn* Enthusiasm* Practical* Adaptability Equal Opportunities At CMS, a next-generation mindset is woven into all we do.
