Five Education are working with a nursery in Avonmouth, in West Bristol. They are looking for a bright, positive and engaging Nursery Teaching Assistant to support toddlers and children up to the age of 5 with EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) learning.The role involves helping to maintain a safe and secure, tidy, clean and child-friendly environment, as well as actively acting as an inspiring role model for the young children.Responsibilities and duties:Using de-escalation techniques to manage any challenging behaviourSupporting toddlers/children with their learning and development Providing personal care for toddlers and young childrenGetting the room ready for the dayListening to children read, reading to them or telling them storiesHelping to develop social skills Essential Criteria:Be compassionate, kind and patientHave a right to work in the UK (A Valid Visa)Two recent child/vulnerable adult based references and relevant DBS/Police checksAccess to bicycle, car or near main bus routes.
