Job Description

Extraction EngineerBristol£23,000-£30,000 + Benefits (Depending on Experience)Our client is the UKs foremost provider of specialist ventilation hygiene and legionella control. They guarantee industry leading expertise from one of the UKs longest established specialist air and water hygiene treatment solution providers.This is a brilliant chance for an experienced extraction engineer to join a market leading supplier of ventilation inspections, cleaning and remediation works across the Southwest.Key Duties of an Extraction Engineer:

  • Inspecting and testing of ventilation system fire dampers.
  • Kitchen extract grease readings and filter cleans.
  • Deep cleaning of kitchen areas, including floors and all walls.
  • Writing reports of work completed in line with TR19.
  • Ductwork cleaning and disinfections in confined spaces and in accordance with TR19 and COSHH regulations.
Key Skills & Experience of an Extraction Engineer:
  • A full UK driving license is essential.
  • Must pass an enhanced DBS check.
  • Will have excellent communications skills.
  • Must have 2 years experience in a similar role.
  • Ideally be trained in confined spaces and to work at heights.
Normal working hours are 8.00am to 4.15pm Mon-Thurs and 8.00am to 4.00pm Fridays. There will be some out of hours working for instance night shifts which are 8-10 hours.
