We are looking for an EWIS Manufacturing Engineer to join a fairly new company based close to Bristol that in only 5 years has moved from brand new start up to creating prototype solutions in partnership with companies such and Honeywell and Boeing incorporatingtruly unique applications of technology that will change the future of air travel and aircraft in general.The EWIS engineer will be responsible for defining the requirements including the design of wire harness assemblies and other interconnection systems, initially for prototype aircraft but later for full production. This will include specification of components, production of drawings and designs, continuous improvement of production processes and procedures and direct involvement with design and production departments with a view to making integration between systemsand streamlined and reliable as possible.To be considered for this role you must be able to show good experience working in Electronic/Electromechanical connectivity in an aerospace or automotive production environment.You should be familiar with EASA requirements and regulations in respect of EWIS and have been involved in previous projects for certification of newly developed aircraft and systems.Any experience with battery or hybrid systems would be a distinct advantage.In return we offer an opportunity to join an extremely rapidly growing company working in an aspect of aviation that will undoubtedly see huge growth and investment over the coming years.They are very much team orientated and are looking for someone with a can-do attitude who can use their experience and problem solving skills to overcome the unique challenges of working at the very cutting edge of aerospace technology can present.There are literally a handful of companies globally that can offer an opportunity like this, if it sounds like it might be for you dont let it pass you by!
