Job Description

A skilled and driven Events Sales Executive / Client Manager with experience in the events industry is needed to join the team at this leading event management company based in Bristol on a full-time basis.They are looking for a driven, organised, and enthusiastic individualto join the team as part of their Events Sales Department.This is primarily an office-based position based at their headquarters, involving mainly telephone contact with clients, team members and associates. You will be dealing with all manner of event enquiries from large corporate events to small group activitydays, producing proposals and quotations to suit.About the CompanyThis company based in Bristol, is one of the South Wests top event management companies that specialises in team-building activities, corporate fun days, company festivals and outdoor activities.They offer a comprehensive range of event services all under one roof, including themed parties, game shows and entertainment!Key Responsibilities:

  • To promptly deal with incoming enquiries from corporate, agency and private clients - discussing their event requirements
  • Liaise with clients from the initial enquiry stage to completion of the sale, whilst following office and company procedures
  • Research, source and prepare proposals and quotations for events, based on clients requirements
  • Maintain and increase sales (to agreed targets) across all products and services
  • Build relationships with existing and potential clients, mainly via telephone but also in face-to-face meetings where appropriate
  • To make outgoing sales calls to generate business from potential new customers
  • To actively participate in suggesting and implementing new ideas and business opportunities for the company
  • Create &maintain positiveclient relationshipsby making regular contact to discuss their event needs
  • Developing close relationships with existing and future partners, agencies,and venues
  • Liaise with staff and suppliers for events ensuring good communication and relationships are maintained between all parties
  • Work with other event departmentsto ensure smooth and timely execution of event tasks and paperwork
  • Adapt in line with the business objectives and seasonal demands of the organisation
  • Occasional attendance at some events, both at the headquarters and elsewhere in the country at other venues
Required Experience:
  • Experience in the events industry
  • Ideally B2B sales experience
  • Strong customer service skills
  • You will be naturally confident, outgoing, and highly organised
  • A team player who can easily adapt to change, especially during busy periods
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
