Job Description

M&E EstimatorLocation: Bristol, UKSalary: Dependent on ExperienceJoin an up-and-coming and rapidly expanding contractor based in the vibrant city of Bristol. With a proven track record of winning exciting contracts, they are seeking a dynamic and experienced M&E Estimator to play a key role in their continued growth.As an integral part of the team, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from large-scale boiler rooms to small remedial works, serving both public sector and private clients.Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed estimates for Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) projects, ensuring accuracy and competitivenessCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for bid preparationAnalyse project specifications, drawings, and other documents to determine project requirements and scopeUtilize industry knowledge and market trends to develop cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and other project-related expensesPrepare and submit timely and competitive bids to secure projects
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an M&E Estimator in the construction industry.Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems and components.Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project requirements.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Requirements:
  • Familiarity with a variety of project types, including large boiler rooms and small remedial works.Experience working with public sector and private clients.Proven track record of successful bid submissionsUp-to-date knowledge of industry trends, pricing, and technology
