Summary We are looking for an Estate Management Officer to join the National Trusts Estate Management Team in Bristol, specifically supporting the Estate Management teamand Rural Surveyor for the Somerset and Gloucestershire Portfolio covering Somerset and Gloucestershireto help manage the let estate. Youll provide key technical support for the let estate (comprising residential, commercial and agricultural properties), taking responsibility for its data management, maintaining excellent systems and processes alongside dataanalysis to support its efficient running. Weve recently redefinedour strategy and made some revolutionary changes to significantly improve how we do things in Estate Management.The National Trust is the UKs biggest private landowner and you will support with the management of the properties it owns and protects.Youll be a key part of the National Trust Whole Trust Estates team based at our Bristol Hub. The team is home to property specialists including experts in Building maintenance and management, Estate Managers, Rural Surveyors and lettings officers. What youll be doing Service will be a vital part of your role in order to build and maintain relationships across the portfolios with tenants and colleagues. Working as part of a wider team, youll help to care for and manage our land and buildings by supporting the deliveryof the Estate Management Plans and wider National Trust conservation objectives.Youll be the lead for our Property System and other business management systems including budgeting and benchmarking performance.You will also be directly involved in ensuring that licences are granted for allotments and activities and that all estaterecharges are issued.You will assist Estate Managers, Building Surveyors and Rural Surveyors with day to day management tasks.Youll provide a professional service for the management of a mixed portfolio of properties, responding to requests for information, providing advice and hands-on support to meet the needs and demands of internal clients especially for our residential andcommercial let estate where you will undertake credit checks, prepare schedules of condition, draft basic legal documentation, and assist with a wide range of other Estate Management tasks.The role may require some travel (subject to negotiation).Please also read the full role profile attached to this advert.
