Job DescriptionJOB TITLE: Environment Manager & Quality EngineerSALARY: The salary banding for this role is £66,861 - £74,290LOCATION: BristolHOURS: 35 hours, full timeWORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.About this opportunity Are you an experienced Environments Manager/Quality Engineer looking for a new challengeThis Environments Engineer role sits within the Finance Transformation initiative. The candidate will be a key figure in the delivery of high-quality solutions and a driver in how those solutions are delivered through a robust controlled and agile routeto live. Your focus will be on establishing, embedding, and refining the technical mechanics and operating model associated with taking software from the creation to production, the role is expected to cross into every area of programme delivery and ultimatelyestablishing the platform.You’ll be working in a cross-disciplinary team requiring close collaboration with the Lab feature team engineers. You’ll support the team in their readiness for adoption of strategic cloud capabilities and help drive alignment and use of group standardsand patterns. This role is not simply to deliver a singular change but to ensure the ongoing processes for managing a complex and shifting environment position post live.The role will be hands on with the right candidate having experience and actively participating in activities around engineering solutions via CMO/FMO, configuration, access management, integration and IaaS/PaaS across technologies such as GCP and OraclePublic Cloud.Why Lloyds Banking GroupJoin us and, as well as making a difference to customers, you’ll enjoy a fulfilling career where you’re free to be yourself.   • A significant Environments Engineering background across multiple technology patterns with experience in supporting major programmes throughout the lifecycle and ensuring the operating process post live support the organisation going forward
  • Great collaboration skills and a good communicator with technical and non-technical people
  • Passionate about Cloud/platform engineering and evaluating existing deployments to determine the best environment strategy.
  • Good understanding and/or experience of large, complex infrastructure upgrades
And any experience of these would be really useful
  • Any prior experience working within a finance function or with general ledger systems that would be handy
