Job Description

Energy Modeller - Bristol CTJ36£45,000 - £57,0000PermanentOur client is a highly skilled and knowledgeable Sustainability Consultancy based in Bristol that aim to simplify sustainability within the built environment. They are looking for an experienced Energy Modeller to become part of the team to assist in hugeprojects across the residential, commercial and leisure sectors.Essential requirements for the role:

  • At least 3 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience of using IES-VE
  • A high-level understanding of Building services engineering
  • Be able to provide evidence for BREEAM credits using thermal models
  • Be able to prepare Low and Zero Carbon (LZC) technology feasibility studies
Job Responsibilities:
  • Estimating building demands, where information is not available using relevant benchmarks such as BSRIA and CIBSE to determine demands or modelling buildings using Thermal modelling software (IES)
  • Develop and establish key relationships with stakeholders
  • Communicate effectively with the rest of the team
  • Support the delivery of sustainable and low energy design projects
