The Position:-* Employment Solicitor required to join Top 100 leading national Law Firm* The team operates nationally across other offices to provide a full range of services primarily to corporate clients* This role will primarily support two Partners * You will be involved in a broad mix of mostly contentious disputes but some non-contentious general advisory work, with some corporate support work from time to time* The contentious caseload will include complex high value transactions which will provide the opportunity to gain experience handling good quality and technically challenging cases * You will have the opportunity to influence the direction of your workload in terms of which areas to develop your expertise in * Involvement in business development work will be encouraged* You will also benefit from the support and resources of the larger national team* The firm will actively encourage your development but providing the right training, resources and one on one feedback sessions* This role has a good level of client interaction and responsibility* Remote working can be offered for those who wish to work part of the week from homeThe Right Candidate:-* Circa 3 - 6 years PQE (Solicitor or Legal Executive)* You will have good experience of handling Tribunal cases for employers* You will have experience of the entire litigation process and so have seen cases through from inception to completion * You will be comfortable managing and complying with directions, including detailed discovery exercises and witness statement preparation* You will have experience advising clients on day to day employment issues, including disciplinary proceedings, grievances, redundancies and discrimination issues. You will have good experience of preparing contracts of employment, policies/handbooks and preparing and advising on settlement agreements* You will be a good team player * You will be keen to get involved in business development, to drive forward business for the practice* You will have excellent client care and organisational skills and will be commercially minded Badenoch + Clark acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
