Job Title: Electrical TesterLocation: BristolPay/Day rate/Salary: £30K - 35KHours of Work: FulltimeType: PermStart Date: Immediately (flexible for notice periods)We are hiring for an electrician that has a NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation and can work on testing and inspecting in the Bristol and London area. This is mobile type of work (different sites often) and you will be using your own hand tools to workon materials provided.Duties of a TesterIn this role you will be working in the Testing team to oversee the process of electrical testing and safety. Reporting to the site manager who looks after the team of people, you will be responsible for:Survey, test and inspect electrical installations in homes and businesses.Identify faults and complete test reports to confirm which equipment is working safely and efficiently.Determine which are condemned as unsafe to use.Skills and experience of an electrical testerAs a fully qualified electrician, you need to have experience with:Testing and inspectingRewiring and remedialsIt would be beneficial to the role if you also had:Full UK driving licence.Range of experience on private and commercials sitesCity & Guilds Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Electrical Installation.What the client offers a testerThis client offers:20 years of expertise in this field with extensive knowledgeQuality standards and accreditationsAbout the ClientOur client is an electrical company that are looking for testers to join their project on a permanent basis.
