Job Description

They offer competitive salaries, remarkable benefits, including a 4% annual bonus, and a supportive workenvironment that encourages a healthy work-life balance through hybrid working.Electrical Test & Measurement Engineer responsibilities:As an Electrical Test and Measurement Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering cutting-edge solutions for (hybrid-)electric propulsion systems and sub-systems. From conceptual design to compliance demonstration, you will be involved in the entireproduct development lifecycle for Defence applications.

  • Creating detailed system-level test procedures for electrical power system test rigs
  • Defining and ensuring the requirements of test facility/rig upgrades
  • Designing electrical aspects of test facility/rig upgrades to meet requirements and standards
  • Specifying electrical equipment needed for effective testing
  • Evaluating verification test results against electrical requirements and producing comprehensive test reports
  • Providing on-site electrical technical support, participating in commissioning and testing activities
  • Supporting the planning and coordination of activities for test facility/rig upgrades
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining policies, procedures, guidelines, tools, and training related to electrical systems
Electrical Test & Measurement Engineer requirements:If you have a mix of HNC, HND, or Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and possess knowledge and experience in electrical power systems, testing, and rig design, we want to hear from you!Other qualifications and skills they are looking for include:
  • Familiarity with electrical standards (BS, IEC, etc.) is desirable
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Willingness to learn and ability to research solutions from various sources
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with experts across diverse engineering disciplines
