Are you looking for an eCommerce Manager role, based in Bristol (hybrid) with a fast growing d2c premium apparel brand Peregrine Clothing would love to talk to you!Reporting to Tom Glover, the MD, youll take strategic and day-to-day ownership for Peregrines DTC sales revenue across our markets. Youll need to have commercial acumen to trade whilst delivering against overall revenue and profit targets. You will alsoneed to be a consumer champion who understands and is able to design customer journeys which give our customers and potential customers the best shopping experience and ultimately result in conversion for both 1st and 3rd party sales channels.Peregrine Clothing is a true British manufacturing brand, built on 225 years of proud family heritage. The business currently consists of 8 full time employees, who all share the core family values of the business and are passionate about taking Peregrine to the next level.Come and join us!Role Responsibilities:Own the E-Commerce P&L from sales through to operating income.Build and deliver a bottom-up sales forecast for all digital channels, This will be supported with a robust trade plan that details all marketing and promotional assumptions, and enables robust demand planning for buying and merchandisingDay-to-day responsibility for running Peregrines eCommerce site and demand in close partnership with marketing / paid media agencies.Managing a new Digital Operations Executive (Q1 23 hire) to help you execute your tactics and actionsWork closely with all other functions to ensure alignment of the eCommerce trading plans with the marketing plans, CX, promotions and campaigns to ensure a coherent customer experience and trading opportunities are maximisedContinually develop and optimise an innovative and frictionless online store that will deliver a seamless experience and will turn first time visitors into customers and returning customersOptimise online conversion by developing effective customer journeys across multiple devices and be responsible for identifying and implementing the optimal tech stack to deliver this.Ensure Peregrine is optimised for SEO and is kept up to date by keeping on top of search engine updatesContinually review web analytics to gain insight into user behaviours and product performance and deploy appropriate trading strategies.Provide regular reporting of onsite analytics and translate insights into clear strategies and tactics to improve performanceIdentify and quantify new market / channel opportunitiesWork with Dev team (external) on more complex integrations, fixes and bugsAudit our online channels to ensure policies, procedures and standards are met, making recommendations and taking appropriate actionAbout You:5+ years experience managing / leading e-commerce / digital retailFully operational to leading edge experience of eCommerce platform/s and common 3rd party applications;Fully operational to leading edge experience with Analytical / CRO tools like Google Analytics, HotJar etc;Fully operational experience of demand creation and optimisation of inbound sales channels using Paid Media & CRM;Fully operational experience of international e-commerce trading requirements;Strong commercial acumen, able to focus on the bottom line impact of trading strategiesGood mixture of creative and analytical skills and track record of improving revenue and sales performance of eCommerce websites.Solid UX knowledge, experience and traction including CRO, AB testing, basket optimisation, SEOWorking knowledge of performance channels (Social, PPC).Enjoys Data Analysis and Interprets into clear actionsCustomer focusedthinks customer first in designing UX journeysSelf-motivated and sets high standards for self and othersHigh levels of energy, commitment and impactStructured, organised and good at managing multiple projectsbalancing the strategy with the implementation
