Job Description

.NET Software Developer - Web APIs, .Net Core, C#, .Net Framework, Entity Framework, MVC, SQL Server - FULLY REMOTE - Up to £60kThe RoleYou would be joining a company who build Omnichannel solutions such as sales channel integrations, EPOS systems and more. They are looking for people to join their collaborative and forward-thinking development team as they look to move their existing productinto the cloud utilising the latest technologies and Microservices architecture.They have recently refactored their old code base in order to improve reliability, scalability and maintainability and with this in mind, the existing codebase in place should be really strong. The team is passionate about modern coding practices, keepingup to date with technologies and trends and also placing a key emphasis on developers careers, utilising this to facilitate our growth around our team.It will be important for you to be able to have the ability to communicate proactively, show enthusiasm about technology and suggest new ideas to ensure we stay ahead of technology solutions in their market.You would be responsible for:

  • Writing clean and scalable code using .NET programming languages
  • Testing and deploying applications and systems
  • Revising, updating, refactoring and debugging code
  • Developing documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Serve as an expert on applications to other developer and the support team

About you:The position would fit someone who is passionate about software development, a team player and an excellent communicator with good attention to detail.They are looking for someone who has:
  • C#
  • .NET/.NET Core
  • Microservices Architecture
  • SQL
The following skills would be desirable but there will be opportunity to learn and grow these skills.
  • CI via TeamCity, MSTest, deployment to IIS servers
  • Custom JS utilising jQuery for DOM manipulation
  • Amazon, eBay or general eCommerce experience
  • Consuming REST APIs
  • Server administration
  • Jira
