Job Description

Our client is a leading provider of heating and plumbing solutions, dedicated to delivering exceptional service to residential clients in and around the Bristol area. Due to recent expansion, they are looking for a skilled and experienced Domestic Gas Engineerto join their growing team.Domestic Gas Engineer Position OverviewOur client is looking for a qualified Domestic Gas Engineer to undertake the servicing, maintenance, and repair of gas appliances in residential properties across the Bristol region. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safetyand efficiency of gas installations, while providing excellent customer service.Domestic Gas Engineer Position RequirementsGas Appliance Servicing: Perform routine servicing and maintenance of domestic gas appliances, including boilers, heaters, and cookers.Fault Diagnosis and Repair: Identify and diagnose faults in gas appliances and systems, and carry out necessary repairs to ensure optimal functionality.Compliance and Safety Checks: Conduct safety checks and adhere to all relevant industry regulations and standards. Ensure that all work meets Gas Safe and Health and Safety requirements.Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations of work carried out, addressing any concerns, and offering advice on maintaining the efficiency and safety of gas appliances.

  • Gas Safe Registration.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Gas Installation and Maintenance or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in servicing and maintaining domestic gas appliances.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Valid driving license.
