Job Description

About the roleWe are looking for aDispensary Team Leaderfor our site inPortbury (Bristol). Your role is to manage all activities within the department, ensuring all goals and targets are met (quality, service, safety, cost, people, morale);control standardwork and implement problem solving process when deviating from standard and Embed a systemised approach to continuous improvement to deliver success with sustainability.Key responsibilities

  • Understands HACCP and Kerry QSHE standards and systems.
  • Technical understanding of cost levers and drivers.
  • Uses KPIs to manage processes.
  • Process oriented.
  • Logical thought process, ability to work under pressure.
  • Root cause analysis.
  • Motivates others to meet goals.
  • Drive and motivation.
  • Builds relationships to optimise available resources.
  • Shares knowledge across the business.
  • Potential to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to be successful in a changing environment.
  • Effective communicator who facilitates bottom up and top down communication channels.
Qualifications and skillsMust have
  • 3+ years in a production/warehouse role.
  • 1+ experience in a lead role.
  • People and stakeholder management skills.
  • Understanding of Quality Systems.
  • Understands HACCP and QHSE standards and systems in a warehouse environment.
  • Knowledge of any ERP.
  • Computer literate (Basic level of Excel).
  • Understanding of KPIs.
Nice to have
  • Experience gained in a food manufacturing environment .
  • Experience gained in a unionised environment.
  • An understanding of the core principles behind a continuous improvement culture.
  • Warehouse background.
  • SAP knowledge.
  • IOSH.
