**THIS ROLE IS CURRENTLY REMOTE BUT WILL REQUIRE YOU TO BE IN THEIR BRISTOL OFFICE 2 OR 3 DAYS A WEEK**My client is an innovative, forward thinking global technology company that is known for being both digital savvy and data driven. Currently going through a period of growth due to winning a large global appliances account, they are now looking for a Digital/UX Director to spearhead this new division of the department.Reporting into the Global Head of Operations, youll be tasked with being the mastermind behind improving the brands digital outlook as well their understanding/approach to the user experience across the board. For them, Its all about immersing clients and consumers so with your digital expertise and leadership qualities so it will be down to you to continue and grow that piece. As this is an exciting new arm of the business for them, they really want someone who is passionate about expanding digital capabilities and what they can offer their clients.On a day to day basis, your responsibilities will include:- Facilitate and lead stakeholder workshops, business interviews, prioritization activities and scope work with the clients (both in person and virtually)- Building, prototyping, and continually evolving digital products throughout the product life cycle- Working alongside senior management to pitch ideas about improving the digital landscape of the brand- Inspiring a team of hungry creatives to learn and grow- Travelling to both company and client locations to lead creative/business orientated meetings (post COVID restrictions)As this is a very hands on role, it is important you have prior hands on experience working in an agency/start up environment or in house brand where there is constant creative movement ; this brand doesnt sit still, so they want someone who very much is of the same ilk. Ideally, you should have experience leading or building a team too as youll be coming into this role with a fresh pair of eyes and assessing productivity too.Crucially, they really want someone with previous hands on Product design and UX experience ; its all about telling a story with impactful design so if you have provided creative solutions to a client with your hands on experience, they are keen to see a portfolio bursting with fantastic samples - so if this sounds like you, do get in touch!Must haves- Fluent in design tools such as the Adobe CC, Sketch, Figma, Axure- The ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, balancing business as well as user needs and creating tangiblebusiness outcomes- The desire to motivate and challenge individuals to find the best solution to problems while being a good listener- 10+ years of experience in user experience, design thinking, client engagement, defining anexperience strategy- Previous experience working in an agency/start up or busy inhouse environment- A portfolio with digital/ux and product led samples with strong visual creativity and creative solution resolutions Required skills
