JOB TITLE: Digital Insight Manager CAREER DEVELOPMENT PATH: Manager or Being an Expert REPORTS TO: Lead Client Insight AnalystSUMMARYThe Digital Insight Manager exists to ensure our digital transformation teams are getting the maximum value of our data. Aiming to understand digital behaviours of our clients and how they experience our core journeys, bringing actionable insight to transformationteams to improve client experience and outcomes.ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIESResponsible for managing and developing the capabilities of a team of analysts aligned to Digital who are responsible for:-> Designing and managing the data captured through client digital interactions in the Adobe Analytics tool to help us understand how clients experience digital journeys> Supporting digital transformation teams through exploration of our digital data to create insights and recommendations for future design of journeys> The production of timely and accurate MI & reports to monitor core client journeys and the overall health of our digital platforms- Responsible for technology strategy for data analysis relevant to their area to exploit data more effectively throughout client journeys- Ensure continual development to meet the changing requirements of the end users by identifying, prioritising and manage a backlog of development features- Ensure appropriate governance is defined and imbedded to control for access, change management, and any potential impact from upstream processes- Monitor and manage the consumption of the application within any pre-defined commercial arrangement (e.g Number of profiles, Server Calls, Data Storage)- Monitor utilisation of those systems to ensure data validity & veracity and manage the footprint of the applications to avoid any duplication.- Responsible for both monitoring and improving the commercial and client outcomes of their given area by spotting trends and identifying opportunities to do things better through the intelligent use of data to:-> Improve client engagement and satisfaction scores across journeys> Drive improvements in conversion, acquisition and net new business> Reducing operational impact> Manage risk appropriately- A valuable member of the Insight Leadership function, together with the Marketing and Client Insight Manager are responsible for overall business performance oversight.- Bringing insights together from around the group to inform business priorities and shape future strategy with data and insights at its heart.Experience/Skills- Expert in data manipulation and analysis.- An exceptional communicator with the ability to articulate complicated problems across a number of different types of audiences; storytelling with numbers.- Experience using, building and maximising value out of digital analysis tools, specifically Adobe Analytics from efficient tracking implementation to building intelligent, accessible Workspaces.- High levels of data query language (SQL) competency, specifically Sybase/MSSQL/Oracle/Imapala & Hive. As a minimum, basic/intermediate skill in data analysis using R or Python.- Proficient at prioritising workloads effectively through planning tools like JIRA as well as knowledge sharing through tools like Confluence.
