DevOps Engineer | AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Python | Bristol or Remote | up to £70kGreat opportunity for Bristol and UK DevOps Engineers. This start up launched 3 years ago and have had somewhat of a meteoric rise. Having had first-hand experience in this $1 trillion industry, the founder and CEO set out to drag it into the digital age, improving the environmental and economic impact and eventually completely revolutionise it.They have just closed their recent round of investment from their loyal early investors and are now looking to build out their UK team. This is a real multinational team, with Developers, Engineers and Analysts from both hemispheres.Right now the team are spread across the UK, with the majority in London and the South West. However, they have been getting together once a week, mostly in Bristol, and now decided this is the place open an office here and scale up the team. Most of the time, everyone is remote, and you will be too. However, expect to travel to Bristol at least once a week later in the year. When the Bristol office opens you will be free to come and go as you please. So if you live nearby and like the dynamics of working on-site, they are more than happy to see your face every day.Up until this point, their Lead Developer has been developing and maintaining their infrastructure alongside his other duties. However they are now looking for a dedicated DevOps Engineer to come onboard and really own the role, making fixes, changes and improvements where you see fit. You will help define the tech direction of the platform and youll be able to pick up your own parts. They are also working on building a new product to help this industry with the impact of Covid-19 - a new and greenfield project to get your teeth into! The tech they are working with: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform React, React Native, Python/Django, PostgreSQL, REST API.Its not all about experience and titles, and technology isnt set in stone. They want someone who is passionate, open minded about upskilling and new technology, and is willing to collaborate and share knowledge.Salary is up to £70,000 plus shares (which are already pretty valuable) and great benefits. The 2 stage interviews are happening asap, kicking off with a 20 min informal chat and then a more in depth technical interview with some of the team, plus a demo of the product.Definitely not an opportunity to be missed.
