Are you an experienced DevOps professional looking for a new challenge at a progressive & innovative technology company Im working with an expanding technology solutions provider based in Cardiff to recruit a talented DevOps Engineer Our leading fintech client is seeking a DevOps Engineer to work within their office in Cardiff. They are a rapidly expanding organisation working with some of the worlds leading financial institutions and professional services firms. They build a cutting edge SaaS platform, which enables financial institutions to connect their high net worth clients with private investments, whilst also enabling these platforms to be inter-connected, creating an underlying market infrastructure. This role is key to the growth of the organisation and will involve managing the automation of the internal systems and supporting cloud based deployments to help meet unprecedented demand for the platform. What you will be doing* Deploy applications to the cloud with AWS. * Provide internal systems and infrastructure support. * Develop automation and system tools and monitoring systems that monitors the platform. * Work closely with developers on the latest projects and embrace the latest technologies available.Key Requirements* DevOps experience - Worked with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet and Chef. * Experience deploying applications and systems to cloud based environments e.g. AWS. * Systems administration experience - Linux / UNIX, Windows Server. * In depth infrastructure knowledge - VMWare/Virtualisation, Networks, Monitoring. * Solid Scripting/programming skills are desirable - Bash, Python, Powershell, PHP.Acorn Recruitment acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment.
