Job Description

Vacancy: DetailerLocation: Avonmouth, BristolRate and benefits: £14.50 per hour, 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays), stakeholder pension plus other benefitsVacancy type and shifts: Permanent opportunity, full time, 40 hours per weekDue to the opening of a brand new BCA fulfilment centre in Bristol in January 2021, we are looking to recruit a Detailer to join us and help build this exciting opportunity.BCA delivers a diverse range of high-quality automotive services. We pride ourselves in excellent customer service and product delivery, with large state of the art workshops and friendly experts trained to deliver to a variety of manufacturer standards.This role will assist in the daily production of the Body Shop department in order to produce high quality vehicles in line with Customer standards.Role and Responsibilities:Duties will include but not be limited to;

  • Check all work prior to starting to ensure that it has been repaired to the required standard
  • Carry out detail polishing of the exterior of the vehicle
  • Ensure all work is completed within the time allotted
  • Reject any sub-standard repairs
  • Ensure that all employment, environmental, health and safety, PPE and other policies are strictly adhered to at all times
Technical skills:
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of vehicle smart repair / detailing methods as well as texture and interior repairs
  • To maintain and develop skill levels in all aspects of smart repair and detailing of vehicles
  • Full, valid UK driving licence
Experience required:
  • Experience within an operational Body Shop environment
  • This role requires an enthusiastic, energetic person with a positive "can-do" attitude
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work within a team environment
