Job Description

Deputy Head of Reward & PolicyA prestigious client has a requirement for a polished, credible Reward professional to support the Head of Reward & Policy with the planning, design, development and implementation of their Reward strategy and the development of HR policies procedures andguidance including, Reward policies, to achieve the aims of the people strategy.This role will form part of a large, busy HR department operating in a complex unionised environment and will be responsible for the delivery of a high quality HR service to an intellectually rigorous client group.We are seeking someone with the credibility and gravitas to operate in a demanding organisation which requires exceptional communication and influencing skills allied with a keen sense of diplomacy.The job requires the ability to effectively communicate and work with a wide range of managers, staff and trades unions on a variety of Reward and Policy initiatives. The desired outcome of the communication is often to persuade others to adopt a differentperspective and requires an understanding of the barriers to change in order that they can be managed.Successful candidates will hold a good degree and ideally a CIPD qualification and will have progressive experience in reward/HR preferably from a professional services or public sector environment. All candidates will have highly developed verbal and writtencommunication skills.This role will offer lots of opportunity for career development in a professional setting and comes with excellent benefits. This role is working flexibly with 2-3 days in the office and 2-3 days at home.
