Data EngineerFinTech / Mobile Payments / Big DataSalary up to £90,000 + benefitsFully Remote - UK BasedCPS are working with a growing Global Scale Up B2B SaaS business that are pioneers in the FinTech / Mobile Payments space.They have an excellent opportunity for a Data Engineer to join their expanding team. You will take a lead on the development, design and maintenance of the companys data infrastructure to enable efficient and secure processing of mobile payments.Initially you will be leading the transition to a centralised reporting function (Snowflake on Azure) and building data pipelines/ ETL. You will also be heavily involved in the following; Pipeline Development, Data integration, Governance and Quality and Analytics Support.Knowledge / experience in some or all of the following areas considered:Strong background within Data Engineering role, preferably from FinTech / Mobile Payments / Financial Services but flexibleProficient in data processing and manipulation, preferably using Python Extensive experience within SQL / NoSQL databases and big data tools (Hadoop, Spark) a benefit as this will be something youll be involved with long term.
