My client is looking to take on a Data Engineer within their Data growing data engineering function. Youll be responsible for building and maintaining data pipelines in an Azure cloud-based environment.In this role, youll also have the chance to work with the latest and up to date cloud-based technologies, but they are also open to taking someone from an on-prem MSBI stack background and training them up to becoming a fully-fledged Azure Data Engineer.This is a rare opportunity to work in an enterprise scale environment of a major well-established national business with millions of transactions per day and have a real impact on business decision making and customer experience.This is a high trust, high performance environment, allowing a great deal of autonomy and flexibility. As such the role will be fully remote, with the team meeting up once every month or two in Bristol and will be paying circa £40,000 - £50,000 dependingon experience plus generous pension and other benefits.Essential skillset/ experience:- Strong data warehouse development experience- Experience managing data pipelines- SQL- Ideally Azure Data stack experience (Data Lake, Data Factory, Synapse etc), but will consider strong experience of Microsoft BI Stack: SSAS, SSIS, SSRSDesirable skillset/ experience:- Some Power BI or alternative reporting platforms (Tableau, Qlik) would be beneficial but not essential- PowershellIf you meet the requirements of this role and would like to find out more about this opportunity, please apply to my role with an updated CV to be considered as my client is moving very quickly with this role.
