The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the transportation of goods, ensuring that all shipments are delivered on time and within budget.Key Responsibilities:Coordinating the transportation of goods, ensuring that all shipments are delivered on time and within budget.Liaising with customers, suppliers, and other departments to ensure that all shipments are handled efficiently and effectively.Managing the day-to-day operations of the road freight department, including scheduling, dispatching, and tracking shipments.Ensuring that all shipments comply with relevant regulations and legislation.Maintaining accurate records of all shipments and ensuring that all documentation is complete and up to date.Identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the road freight department.Requirements:Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of road freight operations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other departments.Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.If you have any further questions or would like to apply for the position, please do not hesitate to contact us.
