Job Description

My Client is looking for someone with Customer Service experience, preferably in a Call Centre to start work immediately.Although the role is remote, you will be based near their offices in Bristol or Bournemouth, so when we are allowed to meet up you can have face to face meetings with the managers once in a while.The role involves:

  • Respond to contact made across all media into the Customer Contact Services Team in relation to repairs, estate management, rents and all other social housing enquiries. Adhering to target times and maintaining a high level of customer service. A wide depth of knowledge is required to tackle a large number of differing issues.
  • Deal with enquiries into the Customer Contact Team, supporting a right first time approach, where enquiries fall outside the remit of the customer contact team, accurately refer these to the appropriate areas of the organisation for resolution
  • Contribute to continual improvement of the service by working with colleagues across the Organisation, sharing good practice and applying the Organisations values and behaviours
  • Initiate contact with customers to facilitate surveys or other transactions
  • Collect and update customers records with profiling information in order to facilitate cost effective contact with customers
  • Keeping up to date with procedural changes within the organisation to ensure accuracy of information provided to customers
  • Deal with challenging and vulnerable customers and work to find solutions to a range of different situations ensuring that any safeguarding concerns are reported
  • You need to be calm, reassuring, have lots of empathy and be very resilient.Desirable experience required:
  • Experience of working in a multi channel contact centre or customer service environment
  • Able to work proactively in a team environment supporting colleagues and sharing the workload
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to deliver a range of information in a clear and concise manner
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet targets
  • The role is working remotely and all equipment will be provided.Working 37.5 hours a week.Between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday and one Saturday every 6 weeks.Lovely, supportive team and excellent benefits including a very generous holiday entitlement Required skills
