Cost Engineer - Aerospace£35,000 - £40,000 per annum + Flexi-Time + Hybrid Working + Excellent Benefits + Leading Holiday EntitlementBristol (Remote working available)Are you a Cost/Process Engineer with an interest in Aerospace Are you looking for a role offering incredible flexibility, an industry leading salary and the opportunity to work for a Global leader in their fieldDue to continued growth and the securing of new contracts, my client is looking to hire a couple of Cost engineers. The successful candidate will be working with major Aerospace clients fulfil their requirements. Clients include Airbus so this is definitelya fantastic role and an exciting time to join the company!The Role:

  • Develop cost estimates for mechanical parts attached to Landing Gear and Fuel Systems
  • Provide quick and accurate view comprising labour and materials.
  • Support Procurement in negotiations with suppliers.
The Candidate:
  • Relevant manufacturing process knowledge.
  • Shop floor manufacturing engineering experience an advantage.
  • Relevant background or understanding of Fuel Systems and Landing Gear components, such as actuators, valves and pumps, gained in a manufacturing or methods environment is desirable.
Training on specific cost modelling methods will be provided during the role. The applicant will be required to quickly learn and deploy new means and methods to allow autonomous working.The successful applicant will need to be a strong character.
