Job Description

Position: Electrical Contracts ManagerLocation: Bristol, South WestSalary: £45,000 - £55,000 (DOE)Company Overview:We are a leading electrical contracting company specializing in a wide range of projects, including industrial, commercial, and large-scale domestic developments such as care homes. Operating primarily in the South West, South Wales, and along the M4 Corridorto Windsor, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality electrical solutions to our clients.We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to oversee projects ranging from £50,000 to £3,000,000. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets,and quality standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to lead and grow within our organisation.Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organise, and oversee electrical projects from inception to completion
  • Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project requirements are met
  • Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients to drive repeat business and referrals
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in electrical project management, preferably within the industrial, commercial, and domestic sectors
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, regulations, and industry best practices
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Solid understanding of project management principles and techniques
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical engineering or project management would be advantageous
