DescriptionContinuous Improvement AnalystProgramme Name: LCST Medical TransformationLocation: Bristol, UKJoin our UK Team who are committed to a Mission!..The Role:Leidos Supply is looking for Continuous Improvement Analyst to join the UK team based in Bristol. Leidos works closely with its customers to provide ongoing support and services to multiple public sector organisations. This role is primarily concernedwith Leidos’s largest UK contract, which supports the UK MoD’s procurement, storage, and distribution activities.We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Continuous Improvement Analyst to join our logistics supply chain team. You will possess a positive and energetic approach, coupled with exceptional analytical skills to drive process improvements across ourmedical operations. This role requires the ability to distil complex data sets into actionable insights that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimise performance within our medical logistics network.Duties and Skills Required:1. Data Analysis and Interpretation:

  • Collect, analyse, and interpret data from various sources across the logistics supply chain, including transporting, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution.
  • Utilise statistical techniques and data visualisation tools to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement
  • Translate data findings into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations for process optimisation
2.Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas of improvement and streamline processes within the logistics supply chain
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives that drive operational excellence and enhance overall performance metrics
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of implemented initiatives and identify areas for further enhancement
3. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
  • Engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation to understand their needs, challenges, and feedback related to logistics operations
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by promoting transparency, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among team members
  • Communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates effectively through presentations, reports, and interactive sessions
4. Process Mapping and Documentation:
  • Conduct process mapping exercises to visualise workflows and identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks within the logistics operation
  • Document existing processes and propose streamlined workflows to improve productivity and reduce lead times
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and training materials to ensure consistency and adherence to best practices across the organisation.
Required Skills:
  • Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proven experience in data analysis, process improvement, or logistics operations within a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and quality
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Desired Skills:
  • Previous experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies or other continuous improvement frameworks is preferred
