Job Description

The Experience we need* You will have creative writing experience and the ability to adapt your style depending on the communication approach.* Be able to demonstrate evidence of crafting messages or scripts for senior executives.* Ability to simplify content making sure that its uncluttered, focused and impactful.* You will demonstrate an excellent attention to detail approach* You will have a creative demeanour, with a passion for suggesting and trialling new bold ideas* Communicates clearly with both internal and external partners* Develops relationships, embracing our differences and builds trust* Ability to challenge constructively, putting people first to drive real purpose to communicate and helping to reduce unnecessary volume* Detailed understanding of internal communications channels with experience of publishing content and leading communication strategy across various channels* Prior experience of planning, editing and crafting engaging internal content for a variety of mediums, such as blogs, infographics, videos and animations to promote business aims and objectives* Experience in crafting and delivering engaging content suitable for internal face to face events* Experience of testing and learning ideas* Evidence of co-ordinating projects and announcements across various teamsThe Role* Youll craft and share our strategic story, finding clear, relevant and new ways to communicate our priorities and purpose to our people* Youll help to educate and influence our network of communicators across the business supporting them to reduce the volume of communications and to deliver improvements in tone of voice and language* Acting as a roving reporter, youll be bold and go out into the business to seek out content, getting to know our audience and finding the right content that tells our story and embraces our differences* Youll support high-profile activity such as campaigns, announcements and change activity by working across Group Corporate Affairs and other parts of our business.* Craft high quality written, video and social media style communications in a creative way to engage our people.* Youll co-ordinate all communication activities including planning, crafting, developing and evaluating the messaging for communications across our channels* Work together with key business areas to ensure consistency and alignment of messaging.* Youll put people first, using your experience to share how best to land communications achieving more for our people and customers* Identify project communication risks, putting in place mitigating actions and raising where appropriate* Collaborate, building trust with our in-house creative team, working together to develop exceptional video content and events, and with external suppliers when this cant be supported in-houseWhat youll get in return.
