They have a fun working environment and genuinely value their employees offering great staff incentives.The Job: Working with impressive technology biased brands our clients Digital Delivery (DD) function creates the content for those support tools underpinned by continuous insight.The Content Editor writes articles, specs, step-by-step trouble-shooter scripts and other support content that enable non-technical people to resolve technical problems and find the answers to general device queries.The role requires the editor to have an excellent command of English and the ability to answer complex questions in a simple and easy-to-understand manner.Day to day duties: Create new content in response to:New product releasesClient requests and feedbackSocial media queries (forums, twitter etc.)Call driversOperating system updates/releasesOwn or others experience (I wonder if)Ensure that customers questions return the right answers within the search toolReview existing articles, specs and trouble-shooter script content on a regular basisReview and update content in response to insight & feedbackStrategic requirements:Play a key role in implementing our content strategy by providing the right content delivered appropriately Utilise and appraise available insightAdhere to best practice standards in content creation and delivery.Skills/Experience:Good grasp of spelling and grammar with a clear writing style with good attention to detailAbility to explain complex processes clearly and without ambiguityImage and text editing familiarity (e.g. Photoshop, Fireworks, etc)Basic HTMLThe Person:Ideally an English, Creative Writing, Journalism Graduate or similarConfident pro-active approachable to propose & crucially follow through Technically capable, curious independent thinker- with a passion for Technology and GadgetsAdept in problem solving & resolution, Team player with a can-do attitude, Ability to work independently and meet deadlinesDiligence, attention to detail and the mindset of taking pride in your work and must be self-motivated The Salary: Competitive Salary (DOE) Location: North Somerset, hybrid working, own transport requiredThe Hours: Monday to Friday 9am5pmThe Benefits: AMAZING working environment, table tennis table / gaming area / break out area / outdoor space / nerf guns / casual environment / lovely people! 20 days + 8 days Bank Hols, enrolment into company pension, Employee benefits/discountscheme (Perkbox) and Spotify group subscription, FREE Parking!
