Job Description

Job Role: Content DeveloperReporting to: Production ManagerRole OverviewThis role will primarily involve the development of bespoke eLearning content using a wide range tools and innovative approaches in order to create engaging and effective user-experiences. This is a varied and interesting role for someone looking to show his or her creative experience and skills to develop engaging learning content for our many clients.The holder of this role will need to be a strong team player who will be able to contribute innovative ideas in team discussions as well as contribute throughout all stages of content development.This position will be remote based in the UK, with travel to meetings in Bristol twice a month.Key Responsibilities

  • Develop content for various clients and projects to agreed standards of quality, timelines and budgets.
  • Design of user interfaces and complex interactions.
  • Provide insights and creative ideas to solve problems.
  • Work as part of a team to develop effective high-quality programmes.
  • Working to agreed technical specifications, client branding and instructional designs.
  • Testing of own work to ensure content is fit for purpose and free of bugs.
  • Handover of work to QA team with full and concise information.
  • Accurate recording of time spent on project work.
    • Essential Skills and Knowledge
  • At least 5 years proven experience as an e-learning developer using Articulate Storyline & Adobe Captivate
  • A relevant degree in Multimedia Development, Computer Science or other related qualification.
  • 5 years’ experience using the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier and After Effects.
  • Strong understanding of SCORM 1.2/2004, Tin Can and AICC.
    • Desirable Skills and Knowledge
  • HTML, XML, CSS layout and JavaScript.
  • Ability to use 3D packages such as Maya, 3D Max, Carrara and Swift 3D.
  • Previous experience using authoring tools such as Adapt, Lectora or others.
  • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems.
  • Experience of video and sound editing.
  • Previous experience of using ActionScript to develop games.
