Excited to join an innovative and engaging company in the heart of Bristol City CentreWe are currently looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join an expanding team within our clients Bristol office. They pride themselves on quite simply getting the job done. They want to offer their clients the service they want, on time and to budget with proven results. They have grown significantly in the past few years and now operate out of 5 regional offices.You will be given excellent training by highly experienced transport planning professionals and get stuck into a range of projects within a close-knit team. You will work on a diverse range of projects from conception to completion. You will know how to apply your knowledge directly to your projects and you will add value to the team.You will be degree educated in a relevant subject, ideally with a Transport Planning related MSc. You will have a minimum of 2 years experience within the private sector working on Transport Assessments, statements & travel plans as well as working on feasibility studies. You will have worked with the DMRB and similar manuals and be competent in doing so. You will also have some experience using modelling packages such as Jct9 & Linsig (but not limited to). You will have used GIS software, AutoCAD and be proficient in the use of MS Office & Excel. You will also have good report writing skills, strong presentation and communication skills.In return, you will receive a competitive starting salary and benefits package along with fantastic on the job training and progression opportunities.
