Job Description

Our client Lloyds Banking Group is a leading UK based financial services group providing a wide range of banking and financial services, focused on personal and commercial customers. Lloyds Banking Group support a culture of Inclusion and opportunities todevelop to become the Bank of the future and Helping Britain Prosper.On behalf of Lloyds Banking Group, AMS are looking for a ConsolidationReporting Specialist for a 6 month contract with possibility of extension, based in Bristol hybrid 2 days per week in the office the rest at home.Purpose of the Role:

  • To support the reporting aspects of the Group & Divisional Reporting Solution (GDRS) suite of applications - Finances key reporting system.
As a Consolidation Reporting Specialist you will be responsible for:
  • Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders of GDRS.
  • Operating monthly controls to ensure SOX compliance and correct governance is maintained.
  • Assisting in managing the impact of operational, quarterly and project change on Excel reports.
  • Support BAU through the investigation and resolution of system incidents and issues impacting the finance applications
  • Data mapping and user testing - full training will be given.
What we require from the candidate:
  • The ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, in a clear and effective manner with a wide variety of stakeholders.
  • Strong numerical skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and keen to take on new opportunities and challenges.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team whilst using own initiative.
  • Flexible, resilient and able to prioritise work to meet commitments, respond to change and maintain focus.
  • Natural curiosity and willingness to challenge and improve existing controls and processes.
  • Knowledge of change processes and agile methodologies would be preferable, however training can be provided on this.
  • Experience of using Jira would be advantageous,
  • Financial services sector experience is essential.
