Exciting Opportunity for Commercial Property Lawyer in Bristol City CentreTSR Legal are proud to be working with a leading law firm in the South West who now have a new opportunity for a Commercial Property Lawyer / CILEx. The firm are a well-established and forward-thinking law firm dedicated to delivering exceptional service to their commercial clients, actively shaping Bristols future through projects.This role not only promises a challenging and rewarding work environment but also presents outstanding prospects for career advancement, including the potential for partnership.Position Overview:Collaborating with the Head of Department, you will be responsible for diverse commercial property matters, playing a key role in fostering relationships with both new and existing clients. As a seasoned and qualified Lawyer / Legal Executive, this is yourchance to become an integral part of a thriving department, enjoying autonomy in your work, a varied caseload, and innovative training opportunities. This role is ideal for professionals seeking career progression in a supportive and forward-thinking legalenvironment.Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling property and business sales, purchases, mortgages, and re-financing for both individual and portfolio clients.
  • Managing landlord and tenant matters, including lease renewals, grant and assignment of leases, licenses to assign, and licenses to alter.
  • Overseeing development acquisitions and disposals, pension properties, and joint venture agreements.
  • Managing support services, including departmental Secretaries and Paralegals.
  • Ensuring financial control through accurate time-recording, collection of monies, and billing procedures.
  • Compliance with SAR, SRA Code of Conduct, anti-money laundering, and Lexcel rules.
  • Familiarity with commercial banking documents such as debentures and personal guarantees.
  • Collaborating with the Corporate + Commercial team on property-related matters in corporate transactions.
  • Engaging in marketing and business development activities, including representing the firm at networking events, developing sources of work, and contributing to marketing strategies.

  • Qualified Solicitor or FCILEx with a minimum of two years PQE in commercial property/real estate.

  • Varied experience in commercial property/real estate, including commercial lease transactions, lease renewals, and property sales/purchases.
  • Essential IT literacy and adaptability to new systems and processes.
  • Leadership and business experience is a plus, along with a strategic vision for departmental efficiency and profitability.
  • Full-time position with the option for part-time and flexible working hours.
