Role: Commercial Manager Day Rate: £500 Umbrella (inside IR35)Length of contract: 3 monthsLocation: Bristol/ working from homeWe are currently recruiting for an interim Commercial Manager/ Commercial Specialist to work for a major defence contractor based in Bristol. Reporting to a Senior Commercial Manager this is a unique and exciting role allowing the successful candidate to be a part of the business from the start with a strong growth agenda including both UK and export opportunities. You must have a proven track record of review, negotiation and amendment of standard government framework agreements; drafting and negotiation of collaboration and teaming agreements; understanding of contract law and intellectual property inclusive of licensing software products is critical.Skills and experience required for this role:Qualified to Degree standard or equivalent experience (preferably Law degree (LLB), Legal Practice Course or similarExtensive senior Commercial and Procurement experienceAble to understand and contribute to complex commercial challengesIn depth knowledge of Commercial principles, techniques and practices IT/ digital category management experience Works as part of Commercial team and wider department team as well as using your own initiative Works with minimal supervision in fast paced environmentStrong business acumenGood knowledge of UK Defence Sector is advantageous Strong contract management and negotiation expertise Able to develop and work with customers and key stakeholdersExcellent communication skills and IT systems knowledge and experiencePlease apply without delay as there is a deadline with this role.
