Job Description

Commercial Gas Maintenance EngineerUp to £40k per annum, Van & overtime and excellent packageSouth West Our client is a leading Building Services Projects and Maintenance specialist delivering PPM, reactive and projects works across the South-West. Due to contract wins and organic growth they now require a Commercial Gas Engineer to join their team.About the role:They are looking for someone who can maintain the Boiler / Combustion Services and building service equipment/systems as designated in the South West area in order to service contracts within their Commercial Gas portfolio.Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • To ensure adherence to best practices for all maintenance (planned and reactive) contracts.
  • To meet and exceed the expectations of the clients, and associated service level agreements, ensuring that all work orders are completed and closed in full compliance with SLAs agreements.
  • First line diagnostics and planning of the required remedial work as designated by the helpdesk.
  • Identify new works e.g. small projects to ensure continual improvement and operation.
  • Ensure Health and Safety Environmental are maintained.
Qualifications required include:CCN1 - Core domestic gas safetyCENWAT - Central heating boilers and instantaneous water heatersMET1 - Domestic gas meters up to 6m³CPA1 - Combustion performance analysisHTR1 - Domestic open, balanced & fan flue gas fires & wall heaterCOCN1 - Core commercial gas safety or CODNCO1 - Changeover gas safety from domestic natural gas to commercial natural gasICPN1 - Installation of the first fix of commercial pipeworkCIGA1 - Commission, service, repair & breakdown of commercial indirect-fired heating appliances & equipmentCDGA1 - Commission, service direct-fired heatersBenefits and package:
