Job Description

Are you experienced in Customer Services and are looking for a challenging role that will aid your development and build up some office experience We have an exciting opportunity with a leading insurance provider to join their collections team as a Debt Representative.This is a great opportunity if you are looking for a customer service role with a bit more of an admin and financial insight.The aim of your role is to help customers who have outstanding payments with existing, voided or past policies. You will be looking at their options and helping them with options on how they can pay off their debt.Ideally you will need to be:

  • a confident communicator
  • able to adapt to various situations
  • energetic and have a positive attitude towards problem solving
  • responsible and take accountability for your workload
You will be responsible for:
  • Handling all calls (inbound and outbound) to customers with outstanding balances on their accounts
  • providing excellent customer service by handling calls, resolving queries and negotiating payment plans.
  • Establish and maintain effective communication and relationships with all colleagues and customers, promoting a professional business image.
  • Working with credit control to ensure customer accounts are up to date
