Job Description

One of the UK’s most innovative, ethical and high - quality Speciality Coffee Roasters, providing their customers with a full circle, world - class service which includes; roasting, training, equipment installation & maintenance and marketing. Their arrayof products includes both ground coffee or whole beans which are sold into retail, wholesale and domestic channels alike.The role: The position of Trainee Coffee Technician is a field based, customer facing role and covers the Bristol region. You will join a team of experienced technical professionals, providing support to the Technical Manager and Lead Technician as well as technicalsolutions on a scheduled and adhoc basis to customers. You may also be required to work on an on call’ rota for out of hours. Full and on-going training will be provided. This is an excellent opportunity to begin a career within the ever - evolving coffeeindustry.Specific duties will include;

  • Carrying out machinery service, repairs and installations as required
  • Setting up machinery and dialling in espresso machines using company coffee products
  • Ensure the customer is always happy and satisfied with the work carried out and service provided
  • Personally manage tools and condensed stock or relevant spare parts etc.
  • Maintain a company vehicle
The person:In order to be considered for the position of Trainee Coffee Technician, you must possess the following:
  • A good base level understanding of electrical and/or plumbing relevant to the role
  • Be willing to learn and keen to progress a career in coffee
  • Possess good problem solving skills with the ability to locate and fix unseen issues
  • Good computer literacy
  • Strong communication skills
  • Based in or close to Bristol
  • A full UK driving license
