Job Description

Job Opportunity: CNC Turner Setter/OperatorLocation: BristolHours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am - 16:00 Friday 7:30am - 12:00 (37-hour week)OR Monday to Friday - 7am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm (40 hours over 52 weeks) £37,800 per annum.20% shift allowance on both shifts.Benefits: Pension after 3 months, Death in service after 12 months, Cycle to work scheme after probation, Overtime available paid at a 1.5 rate, 25 days holiday plus bank holidaysDescription:Are you a skilled CNC Turner Setter/Operator ready to take your career to the next level We are seeking a CNC Turner Setter/Operator to join our dynamic team at our Bristol HQ. As we continue to grow, we need your expertise to ensure our production processruns smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality parts on time.Responsibilities:

  • Set and operate Fanuc-controlled Lathes.
  • Meet production times and quality standards.
  • Maintain 5S organisation.
  • Ensure proper materials and tools.
  • Operate CNC Lathe Machines.
  • Adhere to quality standards.
Requirements:
  • Setting and Operating CNC Lathe Machines using Fanuc controls.
  • Producing high-complexity components from a range of materials.
  • Adhering to quality standards.
  • Good working knowledge of manufacturing techniques and engineering drawings.
Desirable:
  • Previous aerospace experience.
  • Previous experience as a CNC Lathe Machinist.
  • Good working knowledge of component dimensions using various inspection equipment.
  • Ability to produce components to drawing tolerance and specifications efficiently and accurately.
