Shorterm are currently assisting one of our engineering clients with multiple CNC Miller vacancies.They are an Precision Engineering & Manufacturing company working primarily in the Aerospace Sector but also non Aerospace such as Space, Oil & Gas, Formula One and other Motorsport.Due to company expansion, they are looking for three CNC Millers to join the company on a permanent basis. They are standard Monday to Friday working shifts which alternate weekly as follows: Week 1: Mon-Thurs 6am-2pm & Friday 6am-11amWeek 2: Mon-Thurs 2pm-10pm & Friday 11am-4pmA little about the role: * Setting of 3,4 & 5 Axis CNC Machining Centres to achieve first off approvals* In process sample inspection.* 100% visual inspection of production output.Requirements: * Previous experience working in a CNC Miller position. * Experience with Heidenhain & or Fanuc Controls preferred* Ability to self-manage, work on own initiative and as part of a team* Attention to detail* Ability to read technical drawings* Understanding of Renishaw Tool Calibration and Spindle Probes* Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and work instructions.* Be proactive for the continual improvement of processes.* Deburring of Components* Ensure safe working practices wherever applicable.* Must be a team player and be willing to adhere to company proceduresRemuneration and BenefitsAnnual salary £31,000 - £38,000 DOEOvertime (when available) paid at time and half.Annual Leave: 25 days + Bank Holidays.Company Pension SchemeCompany Bonus SchemeEmployee Referral ProgrammeSimply Health Plan and DIS Benefit after 1 years service.
