Are you looking to join a leading engineering company that machine high specification components for the aerospace industry - who also has an excellent reputationAre you a CNC Setter/programmer who is now looking to change of industry or take on a new challengeDo you want to work for a company that offer great pay and benefitsIf so, this could be the role for you.Requirements of the CNC Setter/Programmer: * Experience in setting up CNC machines, including installing workpieces, fixtures, and cutting tools.* Ability to set Work Shifts including 4th Axis and Trunions.* Ability to select and install appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, and fixtures for the machining process.* Understanding of machine parameters, speeds, feeds, and optimization techniques for efficient production.Skills required of the CNC Setter/Programmer: * CNC Setters must have a keen eye for detail and the ability to monitor the machining process closely, adjusting tooling or machine settings as necessary to maintain precision and quality.* In-depth knowledge and experience in operating CNC machines, specifically Heidenhain & Fanuc Controls.* Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.* Strong understanding of CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code) and the ability to modify programs as neededBenefits of working as a CNC Setter/Programmer: * 37 hours per week - Monday to Friday/ Rotational shifts* Annual Leave: 25 days + Bank Holidays.* Company Pension Scheme* Company Bonus Scheme* Employee Referral Programme* Simply Health Plan and DIS BenefitIf you would like to know more then please do get in touch.Acorn by Synergie acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment.
